A country I would really like to
visit is Chile. I have always lived in Santiago, Chile's capital city, but
Santiago is not Chile, even though it concentrates the most part of Chile's
population. I would really like to get to know the country I was born in. The
history contained in this country is very diverse, it contains a lot of
cultures because of the particular geography and invasions from other countries
that contributed to create a particular mix of different cultures, usually the
European culture and the Native American one. As a student of a social science
in Universidad de Chile, is important to get to know Chile in a more profound
way, and not just reading books, but having the experience of watching the
different surroundings.
I want to visit particularly
a place called San Pedro de Atacama, I was there once, but I stayed there a
really short time, so I didn't get to really know the place.
